국문 초록 (Abstract)

Recently, the demand for marine leisure culture has been increasing in Korea, and the government is activelysupporting large-scale marina facilities to revitalize the domestic marine leisure industry. Considering these domestic conditions, this study derived the planning characteristics of marina facilities to enhance marine waterfront, and presented the planningdirection centered on facility layout and circulation planning. The study was conducted by focusing on case studies oflarge-scale marina ports in Korea, and analyzed various marina facilities by dividing them into four major components:clubhouses, floating moorings, land moorings, and parking facilities. The analysis content was divided into three planningcharacteristics of marina facilities: land use, accessibility, and identity, and each was analyzed in detail. The conclusion is that inorder to revitalize waterfront spaces, the clubhouse, which is the central facility of the marina, should be placed adjacent to theoffshore mooring to secure a view and accessibility to the waterfront, and open spaces such as yards and plazas should alsobe placed close to the waterfront to secure friendliness. In addition, vehicles should be planned to be able to access theclubhouse, but parking spaces should be placed close to the main entrance of the marina so as not to interfere with themovement of boats and pedestrians at the onshore mooring. Pedestrian access should be planned to allow safe, unimpededaccess from nearby public transportation facilities to the marina main entrance and final clubhouse, without obstructing vehicleand boat traffic. Lastly, the clubhouse plan needs to include an open space configuration such as an outdoor terrace and arooftop garden, as well as various access plans on the ground floor and direct access from the outside to the upper floors.
